    • Description

Silverthorne is based on our quality handbuilt bamboo frame from Ghana.

2 by 10 Shimano drivetrain with carefully selected gear ratios provides an excellent range of gears to cope with a wide variety of terrain and riding needs. The Shimano components deliver slick and consistent performance over many types of terrain, while still being robust and long lasting. The inclusion of hydraulic disk brakes on every bike provides strong, consistent and always reliable braking power regardless of weather – with the added bonus of much longer wheel life compared to all types of rim brakes.

      Upgrade to Silverthorne 2.2

The Silverthorne 2.2 uses all the quality design features of our standard Silverthorne, but with upgraded component specification and a slightly tweaked frame. We replace the natural flex and give of our ghana bamboo frames with the stiffer, more direct Indoneisan Bamboo frame. This still has all the great qualities of a bamboo frame, but will deliver a little more speed, power and flair when you need it.

Upgraded wheelset and tyres continue this theme – a bike that still behaves impeccably but wants to be pushed that little bit harder.

Every bike is carefully assembled, checked and tested in Bristol by our team of experienced mechanics.
